Being a big fan of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and their album The Heist, I was pretty excited to go to the show at O2 Academy Brixton and take some photos. Macklemore is a fan of getting right into the crowd during his performances so all the photos had to be taken from elevated platforms on the side.  A bit different from the usual shooting from the pit but it was a nice perspective and I’m sure the crowd enjoyed not having their view blocked for the first three songs! It was a great show and I’m looking forward to seeing them again! Also because I know people have asked this a lot: It’s pronounced Mack-le-more not Mack-el-more.
