On Halloween I headed to Kentish Town to see my pal Richard Judge support Birdy at The Forum. I have always liked The Forum as a music venue but hadn’t been there since the refurbishment which I have to say looks great! After a great 30 minute set from Richard, Birdy came on stage complete with a personalised pumpkin, and opened with her song Strange Birds. Birdy has been around for a couple of years now and is most well known for her cover of Bon Iver’s Skinny Love but I’ll be honest and say I hadn’t really heard many of her other songs before the show.  I can say though that after a great set I am certainly now a fan and look forward to hearing more of the album for sure.
